Childhood is a secret. A period and state of human being which we seem to perceive as incomplete. On the other hand, our European culture idealizes the image of the child. Its innocence contains some kind of spirituality, which differs from our own adult existence. The way kids explore and play reminds me of some kind of ritual – a lot more natural than our destructive adult ways. And are the children really imperfect likenesses of adults, or are we the damaged likenesses of children?
